Chase Harvey

Specialties: Power Vinyasa

Chase began teaching yoga in Spring 2020, after completing a 200-hour Hot Vinyasa yoga teacher training during Fall 2019.

Chase believes yoga is a chance to look inward, to sit with oneself, and to learn how the mind operates within moments of challenge. He is committed to empowering his students to explore past their fears and to lean into vulnerabilities.

Chase draws inspiration from yoga teachers he practiced with in Davis, at studios that specialized in teaching Baptiste and Ashtanga inspired yoga. Now a decade into practicing yoga, the lifestyle has brought him a community of students and teachers that continue to influence his flows. Going into his 5th year of teaching hot vinyasa, Chase works to empower his students, using yoga to traverse through life’s adversities, connecting the mind, body, and spirit together through deep inward examination.

Chase’s teaching and personal practice is built upon a foundation of 12 years of competitive swimming and 10 years of competitive volleyball. Chase is also a middle school English teacher and is committed to bringing yogic philosophies to the world of learning.
