Carmen has been teaching barre in the Bay Area since 2009. She loves the combination of yoga, pilates, and ballet that lengthens and strengthens the body while improving balance and flexibility. She taught (and practiced) barre throughout both of my pregnancies and credits her easy deliveries and recoveries to the strength this exercise gives to her body. She enjoys motivating her students to challenge themselves in every class and to adapt the movements to meet their physical goals and demands. Her classes are fast-paced, set to current popular music, and promise to leave your muscles shaking.
