Alyse grew up dancing and first came to Yoga as a way to cross train with ballet. She immediately felt the spark of passion and what began as a movement practice evolved into a deep relationship with Yoga as a holistic life practice. She has been teaching Yoga in the Bay Area for 6 years and teaching dance for over 10. Yoga philosophy informs her daily life and decisions and helps her come home to her body time and time again. Alyse is most interested in the ways that Yoga helps us arrive into our bodies and unlayer the illusions that keep us feeling separate from each other and nature. In addition to Yoga and dance as life practices, Alyse loves cooking plant based food for friends and retreats, learning about herbs, and snowboarding.
