Alison found power vinyasa yoga as an inspiring form of fitness 20 years ago. Ten years after she first stepped on the mat, she changed career paths and became a yoga teacher. Over the past decade of teaching, she has put her own mark on power yoga to bridge traditional poses with playful, yet functional and mindful movement. In her classes you can expect to be challenged, to learn more about healthy alignment, to move your body in creative sequences, to enjoy moments of inward reflection, and to not take yourself too seriously.
Alison believes that strength comes from within. Her goal as a wellness teacher is to help others attain their own goals, whether it be to learn handstand or to simply breathe better. She shares her love of movement on her Instagram page (@yogigoup) and her website (www.yogigoup.com).
