Let your dance be your moving meditation. Embodied dance is a guided dance journey where you are invited to feel your movement from the inside out. Warm-ups are based in Yoga, contemporary dance, and ballet and will lead into guided improvisation. This is a container for developing your connection to your body and its expression through intentional somatic play.
June 15th’s session will focus on embodying the five sacred elements in your movement. We will flow from the ground up and take time to connect with earth, water, fire, air and ether so you can experience how you relate with the elements and how they influence your movement.
No yoga mat required.
Bring a journal and pen for writing.
Come in bare feet or socks.
