“Habits of mind turn into ways of being” – Anonymous
Andrew first attended yoga out of a strong to desire to touch his toes. He enjoyed the practice so much that within a month he started cleaning the local studio at night in exchange for yoga and within a year completed a teacher apprenticeship program.
Andrew brings to his class a diversity of experience. He has doctorate in clinical psychology with a focus on mindfulness and stress reduction. He has also performed as a musician for over a decade. His instruction invites students to be tourists in their own practice while providing them the opportunity to identify their edges and extend them a little farther. Most importantly, students are encouraged to have fun and take their practice off the mat and out into their daily lives.
